Centaurus A - NGC5218 the Radio galaxy

ENG: Centaurus A galaxy is an emblematic deep-sky object of the southern sky (in Centaur constellation). Also known as the Radio galaxy as it is a very strong radio emission source. The reason of this radio emmission is the fact that it is being merged with one of its satelite galaxy. The most obvious sign of this collosion is the dark dust lane in the center of the galaxy which by the way doesn't realy look like a tipical galaxy. Further telltale sings are the two jets straming out from the poles of the galaxy.

HUN: A Centaurus A galaxis a déli égbolt (Kentaur csillagkép) egyik emblematikus objektuma. Rádió galaxisnak is hívják, mivel igen erős rádióforrás. Ennek oka, hogy jelenleg is zajlik egy kísérő galaxisával való összeolvadása. Ennek nyoma fedezhető fel az egyébként első látásra nem feltétlenül galaxis emlékeztető formában. A beolvadó galaxis anyaga sötét sávként szeli át a látómezőt, ahogy az elliptikussá formálódó óriásgalaxis központi fekete lyuka szippantja magába. Az ütközés másik árulkodó jele a galaxis pólusain kiáramló anyag halvány sávja, mely a képen a sarkok irányába mutat.
